About
our congregation
We are the Church of Christ, believing Christ is the church’s foundation (Matthew 16:13-16). We declare this name because it’s the example in the New Testament (Romans 16:16). We’re part of one body (Romans 12:5), and Christ is its head, giving him authority over our worship and life (Ephesians 1:22, Colossians 1:18).
We follow the example of first-century churches in the New Testament. We meet on the first day of the week to honor and glorify God. The saints of the first-century churches were commanded to partake of the Lord’s supper, a holy communion with the Lord to honor his Son, Jesus Christ, and his death and resurrection. (Acts 20:4-7, 1 Corinthians 10:16)
